The seminar will serve as a basic introduction on how the law protects the rights of individuals with disabilities, how the law categorizes such protection and how the law is applicable to sign language interpreters. Within each title, a special focus will be upon the rights of Deaf and hard of hearing individuals and how different federal agencies focus on upholding the ADA.  This presentation will also briefly discuss the recent amendments to the law.
