5. Suggestions, Comments, Opinions (please be honest):
- “Leadership training for newbies.”
- "I recently joined LIRID. I'm glad we have this resource on LI. I think you are already
doing a great job!”
- “Honestly, sometimes the "management" behaves a little immaturely- try to keep it
more business and less giggles."
- “I think there are not many Deaf events on LI. I think LIRID should organize an
event. It could be a fundraising event.”
- “Would like workshops not to be linked to meetings-too long.”
- “I think committee chairs/members terms should be one year. Then it’s less
overwhelming. They can run again or let others have a chance to be involved.”
- “Have a workshop on ‘When Do I need to call a CDI?’”
- “This card indicates you are all very approachable.”
- “Keep elections impartial. No slandering of candidates.”
- “Offering workshops with CEU’s would bring in people from all over the area.”
- “LIRID is doing a great job. Keep up the good work!”
- "Single goal for LIRID - such as the establishment of an MA Program in Interpretation
involving all Top 10 languages.”
