Long Island Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf
Hello for those of you who don’t know me – my name is Maryann
DiLuglio and my term as Treasurer for LIRID will run from July 1,
2008- June 30, 2010.

Previously, I served as the Fundraising chair and the Bylaws chair for
LIRID. Additionally, I am a member of the publications committee.  I
started my journey into the Deaf community 12 years ago, when I
began using sign language.  For the last three years I have been
interpreting (first year in Boston, the last two years on Long Island
and the surrounding boroughs). I hold an A.A. degree in ASL from
Nassau Community College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Interpreting
from Northeastern University.

I am very excited to be a part of this organization, and with your
support and participation, LIRID will continue to run strong.  I
welcome any questions you may have for the treasurer, please send
them to Treasurer@lirid.org.
