Long Island Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf
Laurie has 15+ years experience as a professional
interpreter. She has held various positions for NYC
Metro RID (past President, Treasurer and Newsletter
Editor). Laurie is also Chair for the Interpreters with
Deaf Parents member section of RID and is looking
forward to a productive term with LIRID and IDP. She
has a 14 year-old son, Christopher, who makes her
incredibly proud everyday.
