All committee work is done by volunteers.

Professional Development
CO-CHAIRS: Kristin Connolly and Judy Sweeney (pd@lirid.org)

· Offers PD opportunities for members at general meetings and separate workshops
· Responsible for all aspects of hosting the event

Fundraising
CHAIR: Angela Molina (fundraising@lirid.org)

· Creates events to raise money for activities and events

Publications
CHAIR: Angela Piteris (publications@lirid.org)

· Creates newsletter and maintains website
· Committee members are responsible for sending out a bi-monthly newsletter and
updating the website

Membership
CHAIR: Jess Heron (membership@lirid.org)

· Track membership using a database
· Responsible for updating member information
· Recruiting new members and holding all applications

Mentorship
CO-CHAIRS: Patty Sewell and Stacey Rubin (LIRIDmentorship@yahoo.com)
  
· Offer mentorship opportunities to both pre-certified and certified members
· Oversee the formation of a Nassau and Suffolk study group
· Provide pre-certified members the opportunity to interpret at general meetings with a
certified team
